October’s Leadership Casper Day, Energy Day, was sponsored by Sinclair Casper Refining Company. The Dale Carnegie focus was “Leadership Styles & Tendencies.” The Class had lunch at the Science Zone and performed a team building experiment using wind energy. The class spent the rest of the afternoon at True Oil Companies learning about their expansive pipeline network and procedures. The class also toured the Wyoming Contractors Association Regional Training Center where they had access to a drilling rig and were able to train on their heavy equipment simulators.
November's Leadership Casper Day, Education Day, was sponsored by the University of Wyoming at Casper. The Dale Carnegie Focus was “Leading Across Generations.” The morning speaker was Rosalind Grenfell Manager, Student Advising for the University of Wyoming. In the afternoon, the class toured the Pathways: The Academies of Natrona County campus and Child Development Center.
December's Leadership Casper Day, Tourism Day, was sponsored by First Interstate Bank, Hilltop National Bank, and the Wyoming Community Development Authority. The Dale Carnegie Focus was “Community: Being a Contributing Member” The morning speaker was Kevin Hawley, CEO of the Downtown Development Authority. In the afternoon, the class toured Downtown Casper.
