The Board of Directors of the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce would like to convey their most sincere condolences to Leslie’s husband, Mark, family members and friends, on the passing of a truly remarkable person, Leslie Blythe.  Leslie was a valuable member of this community and the State of Wyoming, her presence will be truly missed.

Leslie Blythe, 58, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away January 5, 2017. 

Leslie worked in the fields of communication, journalism and community relations for her entire professional life. She began working for Pacific Power, now Rocky Mountain Power, in 1987 until present.  At the time of her passing Leslie served as the Community Business Manager for Northwest Wyoming - Rocky Mountain Power.

Leslie served as the President of the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 1999-2000 during which time she led the Board and the Chamber to greater heights.   She also served on a variety of other boards throughout her career including the Casper Petroleum Club, First Interstate Bank and most recently the AAA Regional Advisory Board among many others.

She was also very active in many associations and organizations including the Wyoming Press Association, Wyoming Broadcasters’ Association, United Way, 4H, Vision 2000, a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and was also a Charter Member of the Five Trails Rotary Club. 

A party celebrating Leslie’s life will be scheduled in the summer per her instructions. Please donate to the Golden Retriever Foundation or any local pet rescue non-profit in lieu of flowers.
