CommitteesAgriculture - Strengthens and benefits the agriculture community by creating mutual respect between business and agriculture and promoting Casper as the agricultural trade center. Hosts annual Ranch City Party and Jr. Livestock Sale. Meets the first Thursday of each month at Noon.Ambassadors - Goodwill representatives. Attend grand openings, ribbon cuttings. Meets the first Friday of each month at Noon. Beautification Committee - Works to combine community beautification groups to develop a unified plan for neighborhoods and business in the City/County. Builds gateways to the entrances of the City; encourages enforcement of existing law and regulations. Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Cultural Affairs - Increases awareness of cultural opportunities and events in the Casper area and recognizes individuals and businesses that make significant contributions to the arts. Meets the second Tuesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Leadership Casper - Provides an understanding of community resources and issues, fosters development of informed, vigorous, skilled, effective leaders for the community through a tuition-based community-wide program (lasts from September to May). Sponsors Junior Leadership for high school junior class students. Military Affairs Committee - Provides associative and teaming opportunities for individuals sharing a common interest in service to the Military. Meets the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. Sports & Attractions - Works to bring athletic events to the Casper area, facilitates such events and informs the business community of their economic impact. Recognizes students athletes monthly. Hosts annual Sports and Awards banquet. Meets the third Wednesday of each month at Noon. Technology Committee - Explores in plain English high technology opportunities available to small business owners. Meets the second Thursday of each month. Education Committee - The Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee is an open forum to help develop and promote enhanced working relationships, correlation and opportunities between the education community, business, industry, and professional and government agencies, and to assist in meeting the need for an educated workforce. The Committee schedules monthly meetings at various locations (site visits) to learn about the diversity of educational opportunity in the Casper area; works together to understand educational issues and raise public and business community awareness regarding educational opportunity; and supports and promotes specific educational initiatives and projects.
