Casper Housing Authority CARES in partnership with Restoration Church will be hosting a Meet-A-Machine Event on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 9 am – 1 pm in the Restoration Church Parking lot located at 411 S. Walsh Dr. The cost is $5 per person, $15 for a family of four, and free for children 2 and under with all proceeds benefiting the programs of the sponsoring organizations. Families and children from all over Natrona County will get the chance to meet some of their hometown heroes while exploring and investigating different vehicles and machines from local businesses. Additionally, community service organizations will be on site to let families know about the various services available in our community.
Meet-A-Machine is a fundraising event benefiting Casper Housing Authority CARES and Restoration Church. It is part of the Step-Up-For-Kids initiative that happens nationally every year in September to help advocate and educate communities about issues affecting children. Casper Housing Authority CARES is the Wyoming state representative for this initiative.
Casper Housing Authority CARES is a local 501c(3) non-profit supporting the programs of the Casper Housing Authority. Current programming includes the Kids Kampus childcare center and its programs for children ages birth -12, the Landing Veterans project, the Lifestep Campus Kitchen program, and the annual Father’s Day event at Washington Park
