People will be able to buy Casper Events Center tickets at six participating Sinclair Oil gas stations across the state through a new partnership between the Casper Events Center and Sinclair Oil.
The changes are intended to help generate excitement for events by making tickets more accessible, according to a press release from the Casper Events Center.
“It gives an opportunity for everyone statewide to have access to these events, and it also supports tourism into Casper,” Sinclair Oil Community Relations Specialist Tanya Lewis said. “I think anybody who wants to be able to buy tickets should be able to do it in their hometown, and I think this is a great opportunity to be able to partner with the Events Center to give them that.”
The Casper Events Center announced the changes Thursday. The six stations that will start selling tickets in the coming months will be announced soon, Lewis said.
The official Casper Events Center ticket website name has been changed to SinclairTix. Part of surcharges for tickets will go to charities around the state, Lewis said.
New LED screens at the Casper Events Center box office, now branded as the SinclairTix box office, also were unveiled Thursday during a press conference.
The partnership is the latest development since Spectra Venue Management last fall took over running the Casper Events Center.
“It will help get the word out there for all of the events that we’re going to be having, and hopefully create some buzz in the communities other than just Casper,” Casper Events Center Corporate Partnerships Manager Ryan Hauck said. “It just gives us another opportunity to reach out to the community for different events that are going on.”
