NEW: Art Play
Ages: 1-5 years old plus parent/adult
First Saturday of Every Month: 9am-10:30am (starting March 4th)
Fees: Per child: $5 member and $10 non- member. Adult companion is free. This is a DROP-IN class.
Class Description: Designed with younger children in mind, Art Play is an opportunity for children to engage in art exploration and develop important skills. This program offers age-appropriate materials and projects for artists 1- 5 years old. Kids and adults, you can have all the fun and mess but not in your home! All materials, including aprons, are provided.
Every Second Saturday of the month: 10:30a.m.-12p.m.
January 14 - May 13, 2017
6-12 year olds
Fees: $15 for members and $20 for non-members per student per class. Explore and create with a variety of art materials and projects including drawing, painting, clay, printmaking, collage, and 3-D design. Students will explore different art concepts related to the museum’s exhibitions and K-8 curriculum. You can join the class at any time.
Wednesdays: 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
March 15 – April 19
2-5 year olds and their parent/adult
Fees: $35 for members and $45 for non-members per child/adult duo for each six-class session. Explore art concepts with your child in these age-appropriate, curriculum-related, and themed-structured six-week art classes. These classes engage young students in problem solving, creative expression and enhance fine motor coordination through exploration of different art materials.
