Endangered Species of Wyoming Topic of January Program

Posted on January 4th, 2018

“Gone Too Soon: Threatened and Endangered Species in Wyoming” is the topic for the January Werner Wildlife Study Group on Thursday, Jan. 18 beginning at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to all. During his presentation, naturalist Mike Bardgett will look at the endangered and threatened species that call Wyoming home. Bardgett, who obtained his B.S. in wildlife management from the University of Wyoming, worked for the Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming State Parks, and the Natrona County School District #1 before his retirement. Bardgett now volunteers his time as a naturalist for the Werner Wildlife Museum and the state park system. The monthly presentations of the Werner Wildlife Study Group take place in the Werner Wildlife Museum’s Africa-Artic Room. The museum is located off the Casper College campus at 405 E. 15th Street. For more information call the museum at 307-235-2108 or emailindiahayford@caspercollege.edu.
