Tween Monday: Stomp Rockets
Monday, January 8

The Natrona County Library will host a science program for students in grades 4-6 on Monday, January 8 at 4 p.m. Using water bottles, bike tubes and paper, students will build rockets that they'll launch with their feet. All supplies provided at no cost. Call 577.READ x5 for more information.

Victoria Season 2 Preview Screening
Monday, January 8

Wyoming PBS and the Natrona County Library will host a preview screening of the first hour of the second season of the hit drama series from Masterpiece, "Victoria," on Monday, January 8 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Natrona County Library. Tea and biscuits will be provided at no cost. The dazzling series that gives Queen Victoria a whole new image stars Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) as the feisty rookie monarch, asserting her rule over one of the most powerful nations on earth. The drama all takes place against the backdrop of the early years of the Industrial Revolution, when society was changing as fast as the queen's growing family. Victoria, Season 2 premieres Sunday, January 14 at 8 p.m. on WyomingPBS.

Never Too Old Book Club: The Girl Who Drank the Moon

A book discussion of young adult novel "The Girl Who Drank the Moon" by Kelly Barnhill will be held on Tuesday, January 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Crescent Moon Coffee Stop. The Never Too Old Book Club, sponsored by the Natrona County Library, discusses young adult literature with adult appeal. The group is open to both teens and adults, with parent-teen pairs especially encouraged. After School at the Library: Funny Face Flip Books

The Natrona County Library will host a craft program for elementary-age students on Wednesday, January 10 at 4 p.m. Using cardstock, book rings and art tools, students will draw various facial features in a DIY funny face flip book that once combined make several customizable silly faces for an afternoon of laughter and fun. The Natrona County Library will offer a Selling on eBay class on Thursday, January 11 from 3 to 5 p.m. Library staff will provide an overview of eBay, including how to sell, ship, handle feedback and process transactions effectively and safely.
