Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Director Candidates
The Nominating Committee of the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce, in accordance with By-Laws, places the following members as nominees for a full three-year board position April 1, 2021– March 31, 2024. Nominations have closed, but check out the list of Candidates the board will vote on at the March 16, 2021 Board meeting!
There are three (3) Board of Director Positions available beginning April 1, 2021.
Operations & Emergency Response
Sinclair Casper Refining Company
Robert Ratliff works at Sinclair Casper Refining Company, he has been with the company for twenty three years. Robert leads the Emergency Response Team for Sinclair. Robert coordinates team training both in Casper as well as industrial fire and emergency training schools around the country, he also ensures safety protocols within the refinery are followed.
Robert was one of the founding members of the Industrial Wyoming Fire Chiefs Association which has been accepted into the Wyoming Fire Chiefs Association. This association guides the state into accepting standards for industrial fire fighting.
Robert is a member of Sinclair’s Charitable Activities Committee which disperses funds to various non-profit organizations around Casper. He has coordinated cooking at the Father’s Day Event for the Casper Housing Authority and the Kids-Q at the Smokin’ Soul Barbeque competition supporting the Brain Injury Alliance of Casper. He can be found volunteering at numerous charitable and community events such as Habitat for Humanity, the Balloon Festival and providing and serving pizza for the students of Evansville Elementary School. Robert is also a member of the Casper Rotary Club.
When Robert is not working he spends time with his wife and four children. He has devoted many years to coaching Little League Baseball teams for his daughters and his son. Robert has spent many hours helping with school and extra curricular activities for all four kids. Robert enjoys doing outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and biking.
Director of CARES
Casper Housing Authority
Lori was born and raised in Wyoming and believes that Casper, Wyoming is the best place to live and raise a family. Currently Lori is the Director of CARES at the Casper Housing Authority. Her duties include managing the organization’s non-profit division including the Kids Kampus Childcare Center and the ReFabb4Less Building Supply Thrift Store. Previous, Lori worked for Mercer Family Resource Center and the Natrona County School District. In those positions, Lori worked with the Natrona County Prevention Coalition, founded the NCSD Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive, and helped start the weekend food bag program in coordination with Wyoming Food for Thought Project. Lori has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wyoming and a Master’s of Fine Arts in Public Relations from Full Sail University. Lori is excited to potentially join the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Board so that she can help build the businesses and organizations that help our local community thrive and grow.
Ryan is a Casper, Wy native, Vice President & 3rd generation co-owner at Donells Candies. He is a graduate from Natrona County High, he also holds a 1yr certificate of completion in Applied Science of Automotive Repair from Casper College. He is married to Christina, has six stepchildren, and 1 son.
Ryan currently sits on the Board of Directors of Mimi’s House, Board of Directors for Casper Area Chamber of Commerce, is an active Rotarian in the Five Trails Rotary of Casper club, and is a former member & founding Vice President of the Natrona County Chapter, Bikers Against Child Abuse.
Professionally, Ryan has been in a management role in the family business for 30yrs and chief of production for 15yrs. He has also moonlighted as a bartender, cook, construction worker, as well as 3yrs as a fulltime auto mechanic.
Client Treasury Services Officer
A native of Cody, Bryant obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Wyoming in 2002. He and his wife, Vickery Fales Hall, lived in California for the next five years where Bryant worked as an underwriter, and ultimately, retail sales manager for a private mortgage lender. Wanting to be closer to home, the two moved back to Cody in 2007 where they managed a guest ranch outside Yellowstone for the next several years. Bryant was then the executive director of Yellowstone Recreations Foundation during their capital campaign and reopening of the Sleeping Giant Ski Area. Bryant also helped manage his family’s art casting foundry outside of Cody from 2011-17. He and Vickery moved their family to Casper in 2017 and are happy to be discovering new Wyoming Mountains and being involved in the community. Bryant was excited to join the Hilltop team in 2018.
National Historic Trails Interpretive Center Foundation
Gena is currently the executive director of the foundation board at the National Historic Trails Center. She is an Alumni of both Casper College and the University of Wyoming. In addition to her professional and educational experience, Gena is an enthusiastic advocate for all things Casper.
She is a volunteer for the Downtown Casper Business Association, a member of the Rotary Club of Casper, a certified ski instructor at Hogadon, a Certified Tourism Ambassador through Visit Casper, volunteer for the Veteran’s Center, and a frequent supporter of Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cuttings and other business related celebrations.
Gena also works to improve the lives of youth in the community through her volunteer efforts in 4-H and Boy Scouts. She is an avid outdoorswoman that enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and more.
Gena is eager to be a part of the Chamber of Commerce team so she can help shape the Casper area business climate.
