Social Media is a glorious tool in today’s society. At the push of a button, companies and individuals have the ability to share announcements, photos, and daily updates! However, with each new post comes new techniques and practices which can be a lot to handle. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes, which is why it’s important for us to share all of the useful hacks so that we can create a better experience for our audiences.
In the spirit sharing, here are 5 hidden Facebook marketing features and hacks to try!
Your business page can follow up to 100 different brand pages in which Facebook provides a listing for quick comparison of page activity, engagement, and audience growth, to your own page. For more specific information, hover over the name of the page, click and watch the magic happen. Facebook provides a detailed view of every one of their posts from the current week. This allows you to quickly check the top posts from every page you follow in a matter of seconds.
To access the Pages to Watch feature, click “Insights”
Have you ever seen a post that really caught your eye but you didn’t get a chance to read it? Facebook has now made it so you can save and bookmark some of the things you see on Facebook to view later, like the links or videos your friends post, upcoming events, Pages or photos.
To utilize the save feature click the three dots in the right corner on a posting you want to save:

Promoting your business on social media isn’t necessarily something you can do casually, but it is easily available and it’s something you can master if you invest the time. Boosting a post is relatively inexpensive and allows you the opportunity to select the objective, audience, budget, and duration of your post. Facebook Audience Insights provide detailed information about your target audience so that you can create more relevant content. The more relevant content that you deliver, the further your Facebook advertising dollar will go.
Companies can pin posts to the top of their page to directly point their audience to important posts, announcements, and events. This is a simple yet extremely useful strategy. On your timeline, find the post you would like to pin. Click the down arrow in the corner of the post and click “Pin to Top”. Coolest part is, you can pin and unpin as much as you’d like. Mix it up a little bit and rotate pinned posts to showcase a variety of posts.
Did you know that you can now customize the look of your Facebook page based on your business type?! This is awesome for those businesses who want to display the most important information first. This feature can be accessed by clicking on “Settings” underneath your page and then clicking to “Edit Page”
