Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Director Nominees

The Nominating Committee of the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce, in accordance with By-Laws, places the following members as nominees for a full three-year board position beginning April 1, 2019– March 31, 2022.

There are four (4) Board of Director Positions available beginning April 1, 2019.

Nominees

New Board Member Candidates to serve the 1st term of 2019 – 2022:

Bill Rogers – Jonah Bank of Wyoming

William (Bill) is the Risk Officer / Commercial Lender for Jonah Bank of Wyoming. During his 16 years in the commercial lending business, Bill has served on numerous boards including but not limited to, Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies, Platte River Revival Clean-up, and Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions. Mr. Rogers is a Wyoming native and a 5th generation banker in the State of Wyoming with strong family ties to business development in Wyoming that spans generations.

Cindy Graves – Community Health Center of Central Wyoming

Cindy Graves is an Accountant for Community Health Center of Central Wyoming. Ms. Graves has not previously sat on any Board of Directors’ but looks forward to serving the Natrona County Community. Cindy currently attends multiple Business after Hours events and has encouraged many of her coworkers at Community Health to get further engaged and keep up to date with the Chamber’s weekly e-newsletters. She brings a love of the community and a small business mindset to the Chamber board of directors.

Ginny Moss – Edward Jones Financial Services

Ginny Moss is a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones Financial Services. Ms. Moss is currently active with the Kiwanis Club of Casper and served as President from September 2016 to September 2018. Ginny will bring the experience of a small business on to the board and continues to look for ways to better serve her community and the Chamber.

Katie Caldwell – Olivia Caldwell Foundation

Katie Caldwell is the Founder / CEO of the Olivia Caldwell Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on pediatric cancer research. During her 5+ years, Katie served on the Olivia Caldwell Foundation board of directors and is currently active in the Cancer Professionals Group, the Wyoming Cancer Coalition, the Wyoming Non-Profit Network, and the Childhood Cancer Priority Action Group. Katie brings a lot of experience in fundraising, event planning, community partnerships, and marketing to the board of directors.

Elizabeth (Liz) Roth – KCWY

Elizabeth (Liz) Roth is the Sales Manager for KCWY. During her 20+ years of media sales, Mrs. Roth has served on a variety of boards including but not limited to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Board, the State of Wyoming Jaycees, and the Natrona County Junior Miss Program Coordinator. Liz currently participates in BNI (Business Networking International), the Rotary Club of Casper, Leadership Casper 2017 – 2018, and serves as the program leader for Leadership Casper 2018 – 2019. Her tenure has allowed her to be involved with and assist numerous businesses realize their potential and help them grow. She hopes to bring these experiences to the Chamber Board.

Michael Howe – Black Hills Energy

Michael Howe is the Community Affairs Manager for Black Hills Energy. Mr. Howe has served on a variety of boards including but not limited to the University of Wyoming Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee, the University of Wyoming Casper Advisory Committee, the University of Wyoming Chapter Leader, Economic Development Board of Northeast Oregon, and served as Board President for the Lusk, WY Chamber of Commerce and the Baker City, OR Chamber of Commerce. Michael is currently an active participant of the Rotary Club of Casper, the Casper Area Economic Development Association, the University of Wyoming Alumni Association, and the Public Relations Society of America. Mr. Howe brings Chamber of Commerce experience, public relations, and government affairs to the Chamber Board.

Phillip Rael – State Farm Insurance

Phillip Rael is the owner of Phillip Rael - State Farm. Mr. Rael has previously served on the Old Yellowstone District’s Board of Directors and currently sits on the boards of the Casper Boxing Club and the Natrona County 4 – H Foundation. He also actively participates in BNI (Business Networking International), the Rotary Club of Casper, and the Casper Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors. Phillip brings 10+ years of business owner and small business knowledge with him to the board. Phillip is married and has 4 children.

Rhonda Anderson – Spectrum Business

Rhonda Anderson is a Business Account Executive for Spectrum Business. Ms. Anderson has previously served on the Wyoming Jaycees Board of Directors, the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Junior Chamber International, the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce and Development Corporation, and the Kearney Area Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors. Rhonda served as board president for many of these organizations and is currently active in Junior Chamber International and Women in Cable Telecommunications. She brings an extensive background in membership based organizations, successful fundraising efforts for membership based organizations and other non-profit boards.

Section 4. - PETITION, NOMINATION BY MEMBERS: Following the posting and listing of the Nominating Committee’s candidates, five (5) or more voting members of the Chamber, who are not members of the Nominating Committee nor the Board of Directors, may also nominate candidates through a petition process for the Board of Directors, providing candidates meet the criteria of being a voting member of the Chamber. Such petition shall be filed with the nominating committee within ten (10) days after notice has been given of those nominated. The determination of the nominating committee as to the legality of the petition and the eligibility of the nominee or nominees shall be final.
