The Casper Balloon Roundup is Central Wyoming’s free hot-air ballooning event. During three days in late July, you can look up into the Casper skies and see a rainbow of hot air balloons soaring.
Taking place in the heart of Wyoming, this event enchants both young and old with its vibrant colors and community entertainment.

FAQ's
Is there an admission fee?
Negative Ghost Rider. This event is free and open to the public.
What can you tell me about kid’s day?
There will be tethered rides with Humpty Dumpty, a balloon “walk-through”, and various other activities. Tethered rides will require a waiver signed at the Casper Children’s Center booth and is limited to children up to 15.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at Mike Sedar Park and on the Casper College campus. Please be aware it is construction season so parking is subject to change!

Hot air balloon flights are weather dependent. Please read our weather policy.
What is a candlestick?
Balloon burners illuminating the night sky.
Will there be seating available?
Bring your own chairs and blankets. We will have plenty of space to view the balloon launches. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking on our uneven grass field.
