Halloween Scare at Fort Caspar
Listen to a fun Halloween story and then decorate mini pumpkins.
Casper, Wyoming (October 4, 2018) - Join us for Fort Caspar Museum's monthly Fremont Story and Craft Hour on Saturday, October 13th at 1:00 pm. First we will read a children's book aloud, then participants may make an art project inspired by the story. No reservations are required and all supplies will be provided. The workshop is open to all ages and is free with Museum admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This month's hands-on, family-friendly workshop is "A Halloween Scare in Wyoming" by Eric James. The book cover asks: "On Halloween, when ghouls and ghosts, beasts and banshees, vampires and witches are on the prowl, are you prepared for the scariest night in Wyoming?" After listening to the story, families are invited to decorate mini pumpkins and gourds.
Fort Caspar Museum's hours in October are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Tuesdays thru Saturdays. Admission prices are $2 for adults; $1.50 for seniors (62+ years) and youth (ages 13-18 years); FREE for children (12 years and younger) and for Museum members.
