(Casper, Wyoming) On May 4th CWHP will celebrating the success of a 2 year around turn-around. In an effort to thank all those responsible—staff, volunteers, board and community--CWHP will be hosting an Open House and BBQ from 5-7p to highlight all positive changes they brought.
Two years ago, Central Wyoming Hospice Program sent out a letter to the community asking for help to keep their doors open. Rising healthcare costs and reductions in Medicare payments meant that CWHP was facing dire financial difficulties.
Through hard work of staff and support of the community, the only non-profit hospice in Natrona and Converse county is not only surviving, but thriving. Growth of core services and the introduction of new programs will ensure that hospice will continue to be available to all in the community.
