If you want to meet a person with fire, passion, and fortitude, call Central Wyoming Hospice and meet Dixie Bedsaul. This little diamond has just volunteered herself to host an exchange student. Opening her door to others is nothing new. Dixie has previously supported foster children in her home, offered co-workers a place to stay, and most likely others that have expressed a need for a roof over their head. As the Volunteer Coordinator at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions, Dixie has taken the program on with determination. Her position is to recruit and assign volunteers to assist Hospice and Transition patients who would like non-medical assistance, but she goes above and beyond that. Dixie was truly inspired when she took to rallying several business and community organizations to take over the campus gardens of Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions. On August 24th, CWHP honored RCR Inspirations with the favorite garden award, thanking all of the garden volunteers with an end of summer BBQ that Dixie organized with the help of CWHP volunteers. If you need a relaxing place to destress, stop by the office and tour what this amazing Casper community accomplished. With a history of civic service, active with the LDS church, Dixie is a person Casper can be proud to call a resident.
